VIBE IN DANCE COMPETITION RULES

1. GENERAL PROVISIONS

1.1. VIBE IN is a dance competition for performers of various dance styles, aimed at encouraging creativity, artistic expression and stage experience.

1.2. The competition will take place at:
Širvintos Sports Centre
Kalnalaukio g. 41, Širvintos

21 March 2027

1.3. The competition is organised by the VIBE IN team.

2. PARTICIPANTS

2.1. The competition is open to:

• Dance studios
• Dance groups
• Solo performers
• Duets
• Performers of various dance styles

2.2. Participants are divided by experience level:

• Beginner
• Advanced

3. AGE GROUPS

• BABY – up to 6 years
• KIDS – 7–9 years
• CHILDREN – 10–12 years
• JUNIORS – 13–16 years
• ADULT – 17+ years
• HOBBY – 28+ years

4. PERFORMANCES

4.1. There is no time limit for performances.

4.2. Time will be allocated for stage rehearsals on the day of the event.

4.3. Music must be submitted by email to: music@vibein.lt

4.4. Music must be sent no later than 2 days before the competition.

4.5. Music files must be clearly named, specifying the name of the group or performer and the category.

5. CATEGORIES

Participants compete in different dance style categories:

• Street dance
• Street dance show
• Free dance
• Show dance
• Pop dance
• Contemporary dance
• Classical dance
• Ballroom/Latino dance
• Character/Folk dance

6. REGISTRATION

6.1. Registration is available online:
https://www.vibein.lt/en/register

6.2. Registration deadline: 14 March 2027.

7. JUDGING

7.1. Participants will be assessed by a qualified professional jury of 4 members.

7.2. The judging process:

• Jury members assess performances individually
• They record comments and scores
• The jury holds a joint discussion after the categories
• Final results are determined by a collective decision

7.3. A points-based scoring system is used.

8. AWARDS

8.1. The following places are awarded in each category:

• First place
• Second place
• Third place

8.2. The highest award of the competition is GRAND PRIX.

8.3. All participants receive diplomas.

9. PHOTO AND VIDEO MATERIAL

The event will be photographed and filmed. By taking part in the competition, participants agree that photos and videos of their performances may be used by the organisers for publicity, advertising and communication purposes.

10. FINAL PROVISIONS

10.1. The organisers reserve the right to amend the competition programme and rules when necessary.

10.2. Participation in the competition signifies acceptance of these rules.

11. SPECTATOR TICKETS

A spectator ticket costs 10 €.

The following discounts and concessions apply:

• Children under 6 are admitted free of charge.
• People with disabilities and the people accompanying them are admitted free of charge.
• Members of large families receive a 50% ticket discount.

12. PARTICIPATION FEES

• 1 performance – 25 €
• 2 performances – +15 €
• 3 performances – +5 €

13. PARTICIPANTS' RESPONSIBILITIES

• Participants and their group leaders are responsible for their own health, safety and preparation
• The organisers are not responsible for injuries or lost belongings
• Participants must follow the event rules and safety requirements
• Participants are responsible for complying with music copyright requirements
